What is insured during temporary storage?
When you rent a storage unit at 1BOX, your belongings are insured against a number of risks. Our facilities are comprehensively insured as standard, and we take extensive precautions to prevent damage as much as possible, such as security measures and well-maintained premises. In addition, the contents of your storage unit are also insured.
This is covered by the insurance:
– Damage caused by fire and smoke
– Water damage and storm damage (as specified in the policy)
– Theft and burglary, provided there are signs of forced entry
– Damage caused by third parties
– Damage caused by pests

– When you terminate the storage unit rental, the insurance also ends
